GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer team fell 3-2 in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup to the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets.
The Tomcats were up early after a goal in the 13
th minute off of a header by
Zach Kubec (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva) on the end of a cross by
Dugan Paxton (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Coffman). Thiel added another goal in the 55
th minute when
Francis Ahia (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills) rifled a shot past the goalkeeper to push the Tomcat lead to 2-0.
Waynesburg scored three unanswered goals in the second half off of goals from Chad Palucka, Nick Brommer, and Victor Browne.

Tyler Strite (Fayetteville, Pa./Shalom Christian) made seven saves for the Tomcats.
The Tomcats (3-10, 0-3 PAC) will return to action Wednesday, Oct. 15 when they travel to New Wilmington, Pa. to take on the Westminster Titans. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
