Box Score BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Thiel College men's soccer team was defeated by Medaille College by a score of 2-0 on Saturday at All High Stadium.

The Mavericks (1-3), out of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, first scored when a pass from John Smith was able to sneak through the defense to Alex Pollak who beat the Tomcat keeper in the 24th minute to make the score 1-0.

The Tomcats mounted an attack of their own to start the second half, getting two shots off before the Mavericks countered with a scoring attack in the 87^th minute, as Smith again played distributor, feeding a through ball to Nekabari Tor, who scored to expand the lead to 2-0.

Andrew Hindman (Dunedin, Fla./Dunedin) made seven saves in between the pipes for Thiel in the loss.

Thiel will return to action tomorrow to take on D'Youville College in Buffalo, N.Y. The game is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
