Box Score CRESSON, Pa. – The Thiel College men's soccer squad registered a 3-0-shutout victory at Mount Aloysius College Saturday evening.

Thiel (3-3-0) assumed a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute of play as Zach Kubec (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva) scored his first goal of the season, taking a pass from Arran Robertson (Port St. Lucie, Fla. /Lincoln Park Academy ) and blasting it by the defenseless Mounties goalkeeper.
 
Eric Wolf (Girard, Ohio/Liberty) later made it 2-0, as he scored off of a Robertson assist in the 25th minute. Luke Mesing (Freedom, Pa./Freedom ) gave Thiel a commanding 3-0 lead in the 37^th minute to close out the scoring for the Tomcats.
Thiel concluded the match with a 15-11 advantage in shots over Mount Aloysius (2-4) and both teams totaled five corner kicks a piece.

Andrew Hindman (Dunedin, Fla./Dunedin) finished with five saves for the Tomcats as he recorded his third shutout of the season.

Thiel returns to action on Thursday, Sept. 19, when they host Hilbert College. The contest is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start time.
