Box Score GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel Tomcats played even with Mercer County rival Grove City Tuesday for nearly 80 minutes, but the visiting Wolverines controlled the final 10 minutes of the contest and escaped Alumni Stadium with a 2-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference victory.
 
Dale Reese netted both of Grove City's goals. His first score came on a cross pass from Jordan Carmichael at the 10-yard line with 10:10 remaining in regulation. He scored his second goal with less than three minutes remaining in the contest on a rebound.
 
Goalkeeper Andrew Hindman (Dunedin, Fla./Dunedin) made 12 saves for the Tomcats while Ben Weaver made one save for the Wolverines.
 
Thiel (5-7, 0-2 PAC) will return to action Saturday when they travel to Waynesburg University to take on the Yellow Jackets. The contest is slated to start at 3:30 p.m.
