PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Just one game remains on the schedule for the inaugural season of Thiel men's lacrosse after the Tomcats' 15-2 loss at La Roche on Thursday.

The Redhawks (7-5) scored four goals in the first quarter and five in the second to take a 9-0 lead at the half. The Tomcats played much better in the second half, keeping it to just a four-goal difference in the final two quarters.

Andy Shaver and Taylor Zain (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) scored third-quarter goals for Thiel while Isai Colocho (Orlando, Fla./Timber Creek ) chipped in with an assist. Shaver leads the Tomcats in both goals and points with 29 and 31, respectively. It was Zain's seventh goal of the season and Colocho's second assist.

La Roche was led by Joseph Griffith with five goals. Crawford Healy scored three while Jean Thouin and Kiel Morris had two apiece.

Thiel (2-11) will play its final game of the season Saturday when it travels to take on Oberlin.
