Box Score

LATROBE, Pa. - The Tomcat men's soccer team was handed a 4-1 Presidents' Athletic Conference defeat at the hands of Saint Vincent College on Saturday afternoon in Latrobe.

The Bearcats struck first in the 12th minute of the game when Trevor Cutlip found the back of the net on an assist from Gage Arnold to give Saint Vincent the 1-0 lead. In the 24th minute, Saint Vincent would score again as a penalty in the goal box allowed a penalty kick for Dean Jordan, who capitalized to extend the lead to 2-0. However, the Bearcats would return the favor just before half as they gave the Tomcats a penalty kick opportunity which was converted with a goal by Francis Ahia (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills). Ahia's tally cut the lead in half and Thiel went into intermission down just 2-1.
