GREENVILLE, Pa. – The men's soccer team was dealt a 1-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss Wednesday afternoon by visiting Grove City College at Alumni Stadium.

Andrew Quinn's penalty kick in the 84th minute (83:33) of action broke a 0-0 deadlock and secured the Wolverines road victory.

Grove City (8-4, 3-1) totaled a 10-6 advantage in shots and finished with a 7-2 edge in corner kicks.

Eric Fitchwell totaled three shots on goal for the Wolverines while Quinn finished with a pair. The Wolverines' Caleb Koch made two stops in goal.

Thiel (5-9-1, 0-4) keeper Andrew Hindman (Dunedin, Fla./Dunedin) corralled six saves in the loss. Jeff Swanson (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva) and Luke Mesing (Freedom, Pa./Freedom ) each had two shots.

The Tomcats will return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at PAC rival Washington & Jefferson College. Game time is set for 5 p.m.
