Men’s Soccer Falls In PAC Opener

CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. — The Tomcat men's soccer team was defeated by a score of 6-0 by the defending PAC Champion Thomas More College on Saturday in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
 
Thomas More jumped on the Tomcats early as they notched three goals in the first 15 minutes of the game. Andrew Sullivan scored the first off of a Brad Baumer assist and then Ricky Barria and Alex Oeswein scored unassisted goals six minutes apart to give Thomas More the 3-0 lead. Jacob Waldrop would add another goal in the 26th minute as Thomas More went into the half up 4-0.
 
The Saints would add two more goals in the second half and would go on to win the game 6-0.
 
The Tomcats will continue President's Athletic Conference play on Wednesday against the Waynesburg College Yellow Jackets. The contest will immediately follow the women's game which begins at 6:30.
