HAMBURG, NY (September 25, 2008) -- Hilbert handed the Tomcats their sixth loss of the season in the form of a 3-1 victory.

Thiel finished the game with 11 shots on goal, but freshmen midfielder Matt Brannon (Winchester, Va./John Handley) (Winchester, Va./John Handley) was the only Tomcat who could sneak a goal past Hilbert goalie Walker Scott.  Scott finished the day with 10 total saves while Thiel goalkeeper David Rafle (Edinboro/General McClane) (Edinboro/General McClane) managed to stop six shots from reaching the back of the net.

The Tomcats return to action October 4 for a 2:30 p.m. matchup against conference foe Grove City College.
