Thiel College Athletics

Kathleen Egan was hired as the Thiel College women's volleyball assistant coach in August of 2021. She is also serving as Thiel's men's volleyball assistant coach in 2022.

An Ohio native, Egan graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a bachelor's degree in psychology with a forensic science minor. She earned the Baldwin Wallace Dean's Scholarship and graduated with a 3.65 cumulative grade-point average.

Egan played volleyball for four years at Baldwin Wallace and was named the team captain for the 2020-21 season. She graduated with 3,241 career assists, fourth in Baldwin Wallace history. Egan earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Honorable Mention honors in 2019 and All-OAC First Team honors in 2020-21. Egan was also the team's Freshman of the Year in 2017.

Egan gained coaching experience at Eastside Volleyball Club in Mentor, Ohio, where she worked with 13U girls.
