Yasmine Logan begins her first season as Thiel softball assistant coach in 2025.
Logan was a three-year starter in the outfield and a captain at Ohio University where she hit .292 (129-of-442) in four seasons. She clubbed 28 home runs and knocked in 100 runs while getting on base at a .392 clip for the Bobcats.
As a junior in 2023, Logan posted career bests in batting average (.323), home runs (11), RBIs (39), drawn walks (29), slugging (.621), OBP (.425) and stolen bases (11). She was a Mid-American Conference (MAC) player of the week once and was named to the All-MAC First Team.
Since 2020, Logan has served as an instructor at various camps and clinics in the Pittsburgh region. She has led one-on-one hitting instructional sessions and delivered individualized outfield training sessions to promote skills and boost player confidence.
Logan graduated with a degree in psychology and appeared on the Dean’s list twice at Ohio University.
She was a four-year varsity letter recipient and two-year captain at Penn Hills High School in Pittsburgh. Logan was a two-time all-section selection and hit .689 in her junior campaign for the Indians.
