  • Promoted to Director of Soccer in 2026
  • Head coach of the Thiel men's soccer program since 2021 and women's soccer program since 2026
  • Guided the men's team to seven wins in 2024, matching the second-highest win total in program history

  • Scored 12 goals and handed out 10 assists for a total of 34 points during his collegiate career
  • Scored a game winner against No. 2 nationally ranked Thomas More and the goal received national media attention

At Thiel

Walters was elevated to Director of Soccer in May 2026 as he will serve as head coach of both the Thiel men's and women's soccer programs. He enters his seventh season leading the men and first leading the women in 2026.

2025

  • Completed his sixth season at the helm of the men's program
  • Mentored All-PAC picks Grant Becker, Andy Mangold and Mitchell Strauss
  • Guided Becker, Joey Kushon, Mangold, Strauss and  Derek Thomas to CSC Academic All-District status

2024

  • Guided the men's team to seven wins in 2024, matching the second-highest win total in program history
  • Led the Tomcats to the best non-conference start in program history (5-1-1) in 2024
  • Goalkeeper Bryce Stefanowicz ended the season 7-6-2, making him the first ever goalkeeper in program history with a winning record
  • All-PAC freshman Mitchell Strauss set Thiel single-season records in assists (eight) and assists per game (0.47) 
  • Becker, Logan Smith and Thomas earned CSC Academic All-District

2023

  • Had a pair of All-PAC selections in Evan Kosenina and AJ Trobek
  • Mentored one CSC Academic All-District honoree (Trobek)

2022

  • Guided Jonah Lentz and Trobek to All-PAC recognition
  • Mentored Brock Newsome and Cade Wolfe, the first Academic All-District picks in program history

2021

  • Had a trio of All-Conference honorees in Lentz, Devin Weisbarth and Wolfe

2020-21

  • Completed his first season as head coach in the Covid-abbreviated spring season
  • Newsome earned All-PAC recognition

Before Thiel

Westminster (2018)

Walters was a volunteer assistsant at Westminster in 2018. He once again helped lead the Titans to another PAC championship and appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
