Stan Kennedy is in his third year as Thiel's running backs coach in 2021.
He previously served as running backs coach at Thiel and Farrell High School in the early 2000s.

Kennedy earned a bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University where he was a four-year standout running back with The Rock from 1997-00. He was a two-time All-PSAC Second Team selection during his collegiate career at Slippery Rock.

Kennedy is Slippery Rock’s all-time career leader in rushing touchdowns (52), total points scored (318) and touchdowns scored (53). He ranks second in program history in career rushing yards (3,932).
