Ryan Matviko is entering his second season as an assistant football coach at Thiel College. He will work with Thiel’s wide receivers in 2016.
Matviko most recently served as running backs coach at NCAA Division III MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Ill., during the 2014 season.
Prior to his time with the MacMurray Highlanders, Matviko was a football operations intern at Mercyhurst University during the 2012 season.
Matviko was a wide receiver and defensive back at NCAA Division II Mercyhurst University (Erie, Pa.). He was part of Mercyhurst’s team, which won the PSAC title in 2010 and made an appearance in the NCAA Division II quarterfinals.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in sport business from Mercyhurst University in 2013.
