Rob Trudo is in his third year with the Tomcats in 2021.
After serving as the team's defensive line coach, Trudo will serve as Thiel's offensive coordinator and offensive line coach in 2021.
Trudo was the run game coordinator and offensive line coach at Farrell High School from 2016-18. He was part of the Farrell team that won the PIAA Class 1A title in 2018. Under Trudo’s tutelage, the Farrell offensive line refused to give up a sack in 2018 while helping the team rack up 4,700 rushing yards.
Trudo received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Syracuse University. He earned four varsity letters as an offensive lineman at Syracuse and served as team captain during his senior year in 2015.
Trudo started 44 games with the Orange, who won two bowl games during his career (2013, 2012). Trudo was a member of the 2016 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who maintained a cumulative 3.2 grade point average or better throughout their college career.
A two-time member of the ACC Honor Roll, Trudo was a seven-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and a three-time All-Academic Team selection.
