Coach Donghia comes to Thiel after 23 years of high school and college coaching experience, including coaching at Lebanon Valley College.
He coached the running backs for four years and was defensive coordinator for three and coached the top ranked defense in the Mid-Atlantic Conference in 2008 at Lebanon Valley . He was very successful at Middletown High School, where he was the head coach from 1996-2003. He led his team to a perfect 10-0 regular season record and a Mid-Penn Capital Division championship in both 1999 and 2000. Donghia was also the head coach at Brookville (Pa.) High School from 1989-95 and led his team to three District 9 titles. A graduate of Edinboro University, he also served as an assistant at Santaluces Community (Fla.) High School from 1984-88 and at Linesville (Pa.) High School from 1980-83.
