Conner Schultheis will serve as Thiel’s wide receiver coach in 2019.
Schultheis earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management with a minor in business administration from Ohio University in 2016. He went on to earn a master's degree in coaching educaiton from Ohio University in 2017.
Schultheis served in a variety of coaching and operations roles with USA Football, where he worked with many top young players, highlighted by the 2018 International Bowl in Dallas, Texas.
Schultheis was the wide receivers coach and assistant special teams coordinator at Hocking College in 2017.
Schultheis served as the wide receivers coach and assistant special teams coordinator at Hocking College in 2017. With the Hawks, Schultheis was tasked with coaching and mentoring all of the team’s wide receivers, including one player ranked in the top 10 in the nation in receiving touchdowns, yards per catch and yards after catch. Schultheis was also in charge of coaching the team’s special teams returners.
