Barry Oman enters his 14th season as an assistant coach at Thiel in 2014.
 
Oman earned his bachelor’s degree from Thiel in 1974 and his master’s degree from Youngstown State University in 1986.
 
Oman was a two-time All-PAC first team selection as a free safety with the Tomcats (1972-73). A 2006 Thiel Athletic Hall of Fame inductee, Oman is third on the school’s all-time career interceptions list (13).
 
Oman and his wife, Linda, have two grown children, Ryan and Lauren.
