2009 – In his junior year Borland appeared 15 times. on the way to a 4-3 record… Struck out 38 batters, 10 of which came against Johnson & Wales on March 3, 2009.

2008 - Borland appeared in 10 games for the Tomcats, while starting 6 of them...finished with a record of 1-2...struck out out 40 batters in 2008, with 14 batters going down looking.

2007 - Cory finished his freshman season 4-0 with a 2.16 ERA, 25 strikeouts, one complete game and one save...opponents hits just .186 with runners in scoring position...struck out a career-high seven against Pitt-Greensburg on April 20...picked up the win in Thiel’s 6-4 victory against Washington & Jefferson College on May 12 to force second game for the conference championship... allowed four runs on five hits with a pair of strikeouts in 6.1 innings.
