WHEELING, W.Va. (April 9) -- The Thiel College Men's Golf placed 4th-of-7 squads at the Bethany Spring Invitational from Oglebay Park Thursday.

The Cats fired a 349 as a squad, finishing two strokes behind Waynesburg for third.

Brandon Stubert (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) paced Thiel with an 81 (+10) to finish ninth. 

Eli Nicklas (Erie, Pa./Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy) and Jackson Gadsy tied for 15th with an 87 (+16). Joe Grundy (Saegertown, Pa./Saegertown) tied for 24th with a 94 while Tommy Burns (Buffalo, N.Y./Williamsville North) tied for 29th with a 98. 

Thiel is back in action next Monday at W&J's Peter C. Rossin Memorial Invitational from Southpointe GC.
