GREENVILLE, Pa. (April 8) -- The Thiel College Men's Lacrosse team fell 21-4 to Allegheny College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) clash inside the Rissell-Schreyer Dome Wednesday evening.
The Tomcats drop to 2-11 (1-5) while the Gators rise to 4-7 (2-3).
Dom Baker (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) logged a pair of first-period goals and snagged eight ground balls.
Logan Millie (Fairview, Pa./Fairview) and
Joey King (Cooperstown, Pa./Maplewood) each netted a goal. King,
Mason Simmons (New Kensington, Pa./Valley) and
Joey Peterson (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) each had one caused turnover.
Ethan Narby (Bath, N.Y./Haverling) paced Thiel with 10 ground balls to go with 21 saves between the pipes.
Austin Parker (Titusville, Pa./Maplewood) won 10 faceoffs and grabbed three ground balls.
Bereket Debebe (Silverspring, Md./Paint Branch) added four ground-ball pickups.
Thiel is back in action Saturday for a 1 p.m. clash at Chatham.
