Thiel College Cheer Secures Fifth Consecutive Top-Three National Finish

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The Thiel College Cheer team continues to build a legacy of excellence with a fifth consecutive Top Three National Finish at the prestigious NCA College Nationals. The Tomcats earned an average score of 89.12 to place third in a NEW division - Inter Small Coed Division III.

In the prelim round, the Tomcats earned a score of 89.18, where they finished second for the day. In the finals, they had a score of 89.06, to bring them to third place overall.

"We are incredibly proud to finish among the top three teams in the nation in our first year in this new division" says Head Coach Randall Burnett. "This achievement speaks volumes about the commitment, resilience, and belief this team has shown all season. To make history with the best traditional routine Thiel has ever put on the floor is something truly special."

Burnett goes on to say, "More than anything, I'm proud of how our athletes have represented our program with heart, and excellence that continues to rise."

With a foundation of hard work, school pride, and consistency, Thiel Cheer continues to make a name for itself on the national stage — and shows no signs of slowing down.
