STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (March 29) -- The Thiel College Women's Golf team competed at the two-day PA Classic hosted by Penn State Altoona at the PSU White Course Saturday and Sunday.
The Tomcats recorded a 36-hole team score of 825, carding rounds of 417 and 408 while improving by nine strokes on the second day of competition.
Emily Eutesy led Thiel with a two-round score of 194, finishing 37th overall. She posted rounds of 98 and 96.
Kelsi Hefner (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) followed close behind, tying for 42nd with a 197 (99-98), while
Megan Bull (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) placed 47th with a 205 (102-103).
Grascen Reyburn (Franklin, Pa./Rocky Grove) rounded out the Tomcat lineup, finishing tied for 54th with a 229, improving by seven strokes between rounds with scores of 118 and 111.
Thiel is back in action Thursday April 9 for the Bethany Spring Invitational at Speidel GC.
