GROVE CITY, Pa. (March 26) -- The Thiel College Women's Golf team opened its spring slate with an eighth-place finish at the Grove City Invitational Thursday from Grove City Country Club.

Emily Eutsey (Jones Mills, Pa./Mount Pleasant) paced Thiel with a plus-27 99 to tie for 28th. Eutsey fired a 10-over 46 on the front nine with a par and added one more par on the back nine.

Megan Bull (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) fired a 102 with a par on the front nine to tie for 37th while Kelsi Hefner (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) logged a 105 with a par to tie for 40th.

Grascen Reyburn (Franklin, Pa./Rocky Grove) was 49th with a 119 while Owen Hansen (Lyman, Wyo./Lyman) tied for 54th with a 145.

The Tomcats are back in action Saturday and Sunday for the two-round PA Classic from PSU White Course.
