Kaleb Proudfoot (Butler, Pa./Butler) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season Tuesday evening. Proudfoot also collected the laurel two weeks ago on Feb. 3.
Proudfoot totaled 28 kills, averaging 2.8 per set, while hitting .545 with eight blocks, six digs and three aces across Thiel's three matches last week.
In a sweep of Bethany Thursday, Proudfoot logged six kills on .556 with three aces and digs each along with a pair of blocks. Against Trine Saturday, Proudfoot recorded seven kills on .545 with two digs and a block. Proudfoot closed the week with a team-best 15 kills on .542 along with a team-high five blocks in a matchup with RV Endicott.
Proudfoot is the active NCAA leader in career hitting percentage at .399, with the next closest player sitting at .362. Proudfoot is second among all active NCAA players in career solo blocks with 75.
Thiel is back in action Wednesday for a 2025 PAC Championship rematch at Grove City beginning at 7 p.m. The Cats will host Geneva (4 p.m.) and Buffalo State (8 p.m.) Friday in a tri-match.
