GREENVILLE, Pa. (Jan. 6) -- Thiel College Football wide receiver Adam Kreais (Fostoria, Ohio/Hopewell - Loudon) was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team Tuesday afternoon.

The CSC Academic All-District Honors recognizes students who excel on the field and in the classroom. To qualify for the honors, student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior, have a minimum GPA of 3.50 and compete in 90 percent or start in 66 percent of their teams games.

Kreais, a Business Administration and Finance major, boasts an impressive 3.88 GPA. 

On the gridiron, Kreais, a sophomore, hauled in 23 grabs on the season and was 1-of-5 Tomcats with at least 20 catches. He totaled 182 receiving yards.

Kreais had three games with at least four catches, including a career-most six for 41 yards in the Blue and Gold's 48-20 win at Hiram on Nov. 1. Kreais snagged his first career touchdown against Geneva on Oct. 11 as he finished with five catches for 37 yards.
