CLARION, Pa. -- The Thiel College Women's Tennis team dropped their non-conference match 6-1 to Penn West Clarion Friday night at Campbell Courts. 

Thiel falls to 0-1 on the regular season, as the Blad Eagles advance to 1-0.  

Seniors Megan Harding (Sharon, Pa./Sharon) / Mila Brdar (White Oak, Pa./McKeesport) dropped their duo match 6-1 as the duo of Chloe Walton (Lower Burrell, Pa./Burrell) / Sabrina Robinson fell 6-0. 

Sydney Green (Titusville, Pa./Titusville) got Thiel's lone point from a default by Clarion.  

Harding, Brdar, Walton, Robinson and Makayla Flock (Greensburg, Pa./Greensburg Salem) each competed in singles but ultimately could not pull off the win.  

The Tomcats are back in action on Friday, September 12 when they travel to Wilmington, Pa. To take on the Westminster Titans at 4 p.m.
