HIRAM, Ohio -- The Thiel College Women's Soccer team dropped their first Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match of the season on the road 4-0 to Hiram College Wednesday evening.
The Tomcats fall to 0-7 on the regular season, 0-1 in the PAC, as the Terriers advance to 4-4 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
Hiram got on the board early to take the 1-0 lead at the 10-minute mark of the first half. They were able to get two more in the back of the net before the half, making it 3-0.
Forward Imogen deBlois (Hubbard, Ohio/Howland) led Thiel's offense with three shots, one of which was on goal. Marissa Tiber (Burton, Ohio/Berkshire) was able to get a shot on goal as well.
Goalkeeper Brianna Hollandsworth (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) was faced with 26 shots, 14 of which were on goal, and made 11 saves.
The Tomcats return to action as they travel to Latrobe, Pa. to take on the Bearcats at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 27th.
