ADRIAN, Mich. (Sept. 13) -- The Thiel College Football team fell 76-0 at Adrian College Saturday afternoon in non-conference action from Docking Stadium.
The Tomcats fall to 0-2 while the Bulldogs, who defeated Division I FCS Valparaiso last week, rise to 2-0. The matchup was the first all-time meeting between the two schools.
Matt Jordan (New Castle, Pa./Kennedy Catholic) made a game-best eight tackles (seven solo) while
Jake Badger (Mercer, Pa./Mercer Area) added seven stops (five solo).
Joshua Daniel (Pompano Beach, Fla./Blanche Ely) totaled a career- and game-best 2.0 tackles for loss and six total tackles (two solo).
Devin Long (White Oak, Pa./McKeesport) and
Adrian Bohinski (Dublin, Pa./Pennridge) each had 1.5 tackles for loss while Bohinski also had a sack.
Deon Logan (Richmond, Va./James River) ran for 28 yards on 13 carries.
Ja'mani Morales (Ocala, Fla./Lake Weir) made one catch for 13 yards.
The Tomcats are back in action next Saturday when they open Presidents' Athletic Conference play at Allegheny. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
