TRAFFORD, Pa. (Aug. 19) -- Thiel College Women's Soccer sophomore forward
Imogen deBlois (Hubbard, Ohio/Howland) has been named a Player to Watch by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) ahead of the 2025 season.
As a freshman, deBlois earned All-PAC Second Team honors after leading the team with nine goals, which tied for 10th in the conference and ranked seventh all-time for a single season at Thiel. She also recorded a team-high 22 points, placing her ninth in the PAC and eighth in program history for a single season.
On Sept. 18 against Penn State New Kensington, deBlois scored a first-half hat trick in just over 11 minutes and added two assists, finishing the match with eight points, which is tied for the second most in a game in Thiel history.
The Hubbard, Ohio native also led the team in shots (57) and shots on goal (33), and ranked second in assists with four last season. Her goal and point totals were the highest for a Thiel player since Morgan Berg's 13 goals and 31 points in 2014.
The Tomcats were picked 12th in the annual PAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
Grove City was picked first with 116 points and eight first-place votes. Westminster was second with 105 points and three first-place votes. Allegheny (96 points) narrowly edged out Saint Vincent (95) for fourth while Waynesburg was picked fifth with 76 points and one first-place mark.
Franciscan (71) was sixth, Chatham seventh (56), Washington and Jefferson (55) eighth, Bethany (40) ninth, Geneva (39) 10th, Hiram (32) 11th and Thiel (11) 12th.
The Tomcats open the 2025 season at La Roche on Aug. 29 at 5 p.m. before hosting Carlow the following day at 7:30 p.m. from Alumni Stadium.
