LATROBE, Pa. (April 26) -- The Thiel College Men's Lacrosse team fell 27-0 to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament bound Saint Vincent College in the season finale Saturday afternoon from UPMC Field.
The Tomcats conclude the season 1-14 (0-8) while the Bearcats enter the postseason 9-7 (6-2).
Ethan Narby (Bath, N.Y./Haverling) became the third keeper in team history to log 500-plus saves in a career as he made 23 stops to push his career total to 517, which is third most in team history. Narby concludes the season with a program-record 330 saves. He made at least 20 saves in 12 games on the year, including a program-high 34 against Chatham on April 16.
Zach Melin (Chardon, Ohio/Chardon) concludes his career with 92 goals, which is tied for fourth most in team history. He netted a career-high 32 goals on the season.
Austin Parker (Titusville, Pa./Maplewood) won six faceoffs in the finale to push his season total to 174, which is third most in a season in team history.
