GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Thiel College Men's Lacrosse dropped their Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) 27-2 to Grove City College Wednesday afternoon at Alumni Stadium.
Thiel drops to 1-13 overall and 0-7 in the PAC, as Grove City advances to 11-7 on the regular season and 8-0 in conference play.
In the first quarter, Thadd Bell (Erie, Pa./McDowell) scored Thiel's first goal of the game, assisted by Logan Millie (Fairview, Pa./Fairview).
Zach Melin (Chardon, Ohio/Chardon) notched the Tomcat's second goal of the game at the end of the third period, assisted by Hunter Crouse (Lyndhurst, Ohio/Charles F. Brush).
Goalkeeper Ethan Narby (Bath, N.Y./Haverling) was faced with 66 shots and made 25 saves.
Justin Mason (Alden, N.Y./Alden Central) had a team high six ground balls and a caused turnover. Austin Parker (Titusville, Pa./Maplewood) had 10 face off wins and five ground balls.
The Tomcats are back in action on Saturday, April 26th when they travel to Latrobe, Pa. to take on the Saint Vincent Bearcats. The PAC contest will begin at 1 p.m.
