TIFFIN, Ohio (March 12) -- The Thiel College Men's Lacrosse team dropped a non-conference battle with Heidelberg University 18-1 Wednesday evening at Hoernemann Stadium.
The Tomcats drop to 0-6 while the Little Princes rise to 3-3.
The home side went ahead 9-0 before
Logan Millie (Fairview, Pa./Fairview) tallied his second goal of the year to make it 9-1 late in the second. Heidelberg notched the final nine goals to spell the 18-1 final.
Ethan Narby (Bath, N.Y./Haverling) grabbed a game-best nine ground balls and made 20 saves.
Justin Mason (Alden, N.Y./Alden Central) nabbed seven ground balls and caused a career-high-tying and game-pacing five turnovers.
Austin Parker (Titusville, Pa./Maplewood) won 11 faceoffs while
Hunter Crouse (Lyndhurst, Ohio/Charles F. Brush) snatched a career-best four ground balls.
Men's Lacrosse returns to action Saturday, March 22, for a home battle with La Roche at noon.
