GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Thiel College Women's Basketball team dropped their Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest 98-42 against Bethany College Wednesday evening.
Freshmen Bria Ringloff (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) and Kayley Risser (Reynoldsville, Pa./Dubois Central Catholic) put up a combined 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead Thiel's offense against the Bison.
Ringloff picked up a team high 12 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal. Ringloff played 28 minutes and went 3-6 from the free throw line.
Risser grabbed a team high six rebounds, while adding 11 points, one assist and one steal. Risser went 4-7 from the field and 3-5 from the free throw line.
Issy Green (Slippery Rock, Pa./Portersville Christian) had a team high three steals as well as six rebounds and picked up 7 points.
Giana Arnese (Carbondale, Pa./Carbondale) put down three blocked shots to help the Tomcat defense and grabbed one rebound.
The Tomcats are back in action on Saturday, February 8th, when they travel to Pittsburgh, Pa. To take on the Chatham Cougars. The PAC contest will begin at noon, followed by the men's team at 2:00 p.m.
