GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Thiel College Women's Basketball team dropped a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest with Grove City 81-52 Wednesday evening.
Freshmen Kayley Risser (Reynoldsville, Pa./Dubois Central Catholic) and Bria Ringloff (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) had a combined 27 points and eight rebounds to lead the Tomcats all around the court.
Risser dropped a team high 14 points and dished out a career-high three assists. The Freshman grabbed four rebounds, four steals and a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line to complete her night.
Ringloff put up a career-high 13 points, grabbed four boards, and two assists. The Jefferson Hills native went 5-11 from the field and 3-7 from the three-point line.
Lyndzee Amory (Edinboro, Pa./Saegertown) had a game high five rebounds, while picking up 6 points.
Jensen Stehlik (Sagamore Hills, Ohio/Nordonia), Josie Lewis (Greenville, Pa./Greenville), Maddy Triskett (Orwell, Ohio/Berkshire), and Issy Green (Slippery Rock, Pa./Portersville Christian) all grabbed four rebounds to add to the Tomcat total of 34. Lewis dished out two assists and put up 5 points while Stehlik added 7 points.
The Tomcats will be back in action on Wednesday, February 19th when they host the Washington and Jefferson Presidents in their final home game of the season. The PAC contest will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's team at 7:30 p.m.
