Amory, Jenness named CSC Academic All-District

GREENVILLE, Pa. (Dec. 16) -- Thiel College Women's Volleyball players Lyndzee Amory (Edinboro, Pa./Saegertown) and Daisy Jenness (Pendleton, Ore./Pendleton) were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team Tuesday afternoon.

The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes student-athletes who excel on the court and in the classroom. To qualify, student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior and have a minimum GPA of 3.50 and compete in 90 percent of matches or start in 66 percent of their teams contests.]

Amory, a sophomore business administration major, boasts an impressive 4.0 GPA. She had a breakout year at the opposite position for the Tomcats, posting 165 kills and averaging 1.94 kills per set, both of which were third most on the team. She was also third on the team in blocks with 40 (1 BS, 39 BA).

Amory had four matches with at least 10 kills on the year. She notched a career-most 14 kills on a career-best .500 at Grove City, a 3-1 Thiel win, on Sept. 20.

Jenness, a senior biology major, is now a three-time CSC Academic All-District Honoree, having earned the honor in each of the last three seasons. She boasts a 3.85 GPA as she aims to become a doctor.

Jenness made the All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Second Team in 2025. She concluded her Thiel career with 1,093 career kills, the seventh most in team history, and is 1-of-8 Tomcats ever with 1,000 or more kills. Her mark in career kills per set (3.31) is the second highest in team history while her 3,399 career swings are the sixth most in team history.

She ended the 2025 campaign second in the PAC in kills per set (4.36) and third in total kills (392). Her 12.71 attempts per set were the third most in all of Division III. Jenness logged six double-doubles, the second most on the team.

Women's Volleyball posted a 17-9 (11-5) mark last season and made it to the PAC Championship Tournament Semifinals for the first time since 2022 before falling to eventual champion Grove City.
