TRAFFORD, Pa. (Nov. 4) -- Thiel College Men's Basketball players
Khamari Accursio-Harris (Jupiter, Fla./Jupiter),
Mike Brown (Clinton, Md./Gwynn Park) and
John Morgan (Indianapolis, Ind./Lebanon) were named Players to Watch for the upcoming 2025-26 season by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Tuesday morning.
Accursio-Harris had a breakout 2024-25 campaign as he logged 9.1 points per game and a team-high 6.1 rebounds per contest. He shot the ball at a 44.2-percent clip from the field as he started all 24 games for the Blue and Gold.
Brown, a senior, started a career-most 22 games last season. He set career marks in points (251), points per game (10.9), rebounds (90), rebounds per game (3.9), steals (28) and field-goal percentage (36.1). Brown led the Tomcats in made 3-pointers (33) and paced with an 82.1-percent clip at the charity stripe (46-of-56).
Morgan appeared in all 24 games last season. He posted 12 points on 4-of-6 from beyond the arc in Thiel's matchup at Allegheny on Jan. 15.
Thiel was picked to finish fifth in the PAC North in the annual Preseason Coaches Poll. Westminster was picked to win the North with 60 points and six first-place votes, just narrowly edging Grove City, who was picked second with 58 points and four first-place marks. Allegheny was third with 43 points and two first-place tallies. Geneva (33 points) was fourth followed by Thiel (29) and Hiram (23).
In the PAC South, W&J took the first spot with 63 points and nine first-place votes. Saint Vincent was second with a first-place vote and 55 points followed by Chatham with two first-place marks and 46 points. Franciscan (40 points), Waynesburg (26) and Bethany (16) round out the poll.
Men's Basketball opens the 2025 campaign next Monday with a 7 p.m. non-league clash at Saint Vincent.
