TRAFFORD, Pa. (Nov. 3) -- Thiel College junior middle blocker 
Arin DeLattre (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday evening.
The weekly honor is the second for DeLattre in as many weeks as she was named the conference Defensive Player of the Week last Monday.
DeLattre racked up 25 kills, averaging 3.12 per set, out of the middle on .384 hitting to go with eight blocks and a trio of aces as Thiel posted a 2-0 week with four-set wins over Allegheny and Chatham.
She totaled a season-high-tying 14 kills on .379 and had an ace in the triumph at Allegheny Wednesday. The junior posted 11 kills on .391 along with six blocks (3 solo, 3 assisted) and two aces in Saturday's home win over Chatham.
DeLattre leads the PAC and is in the top 100 of DIII players in hitting (.318). She is second in the conference in blocks per set (1.06). 
Across her last nine matches, DeLattre is hitting an astonishing .362 with 95 kills and 34 blocks. She has hit above .300 in 8 of those 9 matches, while crossing the .500 mark once.
Women's Volleyball closes the regular season with matches at Westminster Wednesday ( 7 p.m.) and at Hiram Saturday (1 p.m.). Thiel has secured a first-round home match next Tuesday in the PAC Championship Tournament. The Tomcats are still alive for the top seed as they sit two games back of Hiram.
