STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (Oct. 18) -- The Thiel College Women's Volleyball team's five-match win streak came to an end Saturday afternoon in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) interdivisional play at Franciscan University in straight sets from Finnegan Fieldhouse.
The Tomcats drop to 13-5 (8-2) while the Barons rise to 8-10 (4-6).
Arin DeLattre (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) led Thiel with nine kills on .217. She added two digs and a block.
Lyndzee Amory (Edinboro, Pa./Saegertown) added eight kills on .208.
Daisy Jenness (Pendleton, Ore./Pendleton) logged five kills.
Danielle Aulet (Lawrence, Kan./Mineral Ridge) dug a team-best 12 balls.
Sarah Wilson (Rural Valley, Pa./West Shamokin) had eight digs.
Carlie Reynolds (Grove City, Pa./Grove City Area) dished out 21 assists and dug seven balls while serving two aces.
Franciscan limited Thiel to .018 hitting as they posted 10 blocks (14 BA, 3 BA).
Thiel looks to get back on track Wednesday when they host Grove City in PAC North action. The Tomcats bested the Wolverines 3-1 in their first meeting this season.
