LATROBE, Pa. -- The Thiel College Women's Basketball team fell to the Saint Vincent Bearcats in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match-up 98-34 Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Kayley Risser (Reynoldsville, Pa./Dubois Central Catholic) dropped 15 points to lead Thiel's offense, while also grabbing five rebounds and one block. Risser went 6-15 from the field and 3-8 from the free throw line.
Maddy Triskett (Orwell, Ohio/Berkshire) added 7 points and four rebounds, while also going 3-4 from the field and 1-2 from the free throw line.
Issy Green (Slippery Rock, Pa./Portersville Christian) had a team high six rebounds and picked up four points.
Jensen Stehlik (Sagamore Hills, Ohio/Nordonia) and Catherine Kelly (Butler, Pa./Moniteau) each grabbed five boards, while Bria Ringloff (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) and Lyndzee Amory (Edinboro, Pa./Saegertown) each had four.
The Tomcats are back in action on Wednesday, January 29th when they travel to New Wilmington, Pa. To take on the Westminster Titans. The conference match-up will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by the men's at 8:00 p.m.
