GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team dropped their final non-conference game to the Hiram Terriers, 3-0, Saturday afternoon on senior day.
Prior to the game,
Kaleigh Atkins (Parma, Ohio/Padua Franciscan),
Heather Farr (Conneaut, Ohio/Edgewood) and
Skylar Garlick (Fort Loudon, Pa./James Buchanan) were honored for senior day prior to the game.
Hiram got on the board first, going up 1-0 in the 12
th minute. The Terriers doubled their lead in the 27
th minute, before a late goal finished off the scoring.
Thiel was led by Garlick who recorded two shots.
Jordan Jennings (Portsmouth, Ohio/Wheelersburg) recorded one shot, while
Ashley Ross (Springdale, Pa./Springdale) also recorded one shot.
Hiram was led by Reagan Mory who recorded all three assists. Sydney Ladage, Kylianne Durachinsky and Mackenzie Morrison all recorded one goal apiece.
The Tomcats are back in action on Friday when they open Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play against the Saint Vincent Bearcats. The PAC match is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
