GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team defeated the Hilbert Hawks, 3-0, Tuesday night under the lights at Alumni Stadium.
Thiel outshot Hilbert 23-12, including 13-6 shots on goal.
Thiel was led by
Imogen deBlois (Hubbard, Ohio/Howland) who recorded her third goal of the season.
Kenna Reinard (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard) recorded her first goal of the season, while
Skylar Garlick (Fort Loudon, Pa./James Buchanan) also scored a goal.
Stacie Weimert (Jamestown, Pa./Jamestown) recorded two assists, giving her three for the season.
Hilbert was led by Vanessa Van Slyke who recorded five shots, including three on goal. Novalee Schlenker, Julia Fabiano and Evin Stauffer all recorded two shots a piece.
In net for Thiel,
Madison Rodgers (Reinholds, Pa./Cocalico) recorded her first collegiate clean sheet, making six saves.
In goal for Hilbert, Kiera McFarland recorded nine saves.
The Tomcats return to action on Wednesday when they host the Penn State New Kensington Lions. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m.
