BRADFORD, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team dropped a non-conference game to the Pitt Bradford Panther, 5-0, on the road Saturday afternoon.
The Tomcats held the Panthers scoreless through the first half.
However, five second half goals for the Panthers would prove too much for the Tomcats.
Thiel was led by
Imogen deBlois (Hubbard, Ohio/Howland) who recorded two shots, including one on goal.
Stacie Weimert (Jamestown, Pa./Jamestown) also recorded a shot on goal, and
Marissa Tiber (Burton, Ohio/Berkshire) recorded a shot.
Pitt Bradford was led by Mya King who recorded two goals and two assists. Gianna Gomez notched two goals, while Lauren Donnelly recorded one goal.
In goal for Thiel,
Brianna Hollandsworth (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) got the start, making one save.
Madison Rodgers (Reinholds, Pa./Cocalico) played the final 45 minutes, making six saves.
In net for the Panthers, Mackenzie Harmon got the start, making one save. Madison Coe made two saves in 45 minutes of work.
The Tomcats will return to Alumni Stadium on Tuesday when they host the Hilbert Hawks. The non-conference match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
