WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Thiel College women's soccer team dropped a non-conference game to the Penn Wildcats, 8-0, on the road Wednesday night.
The Tomcats held the game scoreless through the first 30 minutes of the game. However, the Wildcats scored three goals in four minutes to break the game open.
Thiel was led by
Imogen deBlois (Hubbard, Ohio/Howland) who recorded three shots, including two on goal.
Penn was led by Olivia Casella who recorded three goals and one assist. Cassie Johnson recorded two goals.
In goal for Thiel,
Madison Rodgers (Reinholds, Pa./Cocalico) recorded a career-best 20 saves. For Penn, Nicole Lichtinger recorded two saves in the shutout win.
The Tomcats are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Pitt Bradford. The non-conference match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
