GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's volleyball lost to the second-seeded Hiram Terriers, 3-0, Friday night in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Semifinals.
Hiram won in straight sets 27-25, 25-19, 26-24.
Thiel was led by
Will Zimmerman (Cranberry, Pa./Seneca Valley) who recorded eight kills and two digs.
Kaleb Proudfoot (Butler, Pa./Butler) recorded six kills, four digs and four blocks, while
Jake Dies (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs) recorded five kills and three blocks.
Josh Pugh (Wexford, Pa./Pine Richland) recorded a team-high 13 digs, while
Eli Olszowka (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prep) recorded a team high 16 assists.
Hiram was led by Kyle Martini who recorded 20 kills and 11 digs. Jackson Deubner recorded 10 kills and eight digs, while Connor Tilton recorded nine digs. Matthew Albano recorded a game-high 39 assists.
The Tomcats finish the season 13-13, including a 6-3 record in AMCC play.
