GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's lacrosse team lost its season opener Saturday at the Rissell-Schreyer Dome to the SUNY-Delhi Broncos, 18-6.
Chase Lawler (Etters, Pa./Red Land) led Thiel with three goals and two assists (5 points).
Bennett Medyn (Macedon, N.Y./Palmyra Macedon) scored two goals.
Benjamin Moscatiello led the Broncos with seven points (3G, 4A). Jagger Beachak tallied six points (2G, 4A).
Ethan Narby (Bath, N.Y./Haverling) made 16 saves for the Tomcats. Mike Triolo made seven saves for the Broncos.
Thiel will face the Grove City Wolverines on the road Tuesday. The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game will start at 4 p.m.
