GREENVILLE, Pa. (Nov. 18) -- Thiel College sophomore running back Jayveerh White (Sharon, Pa./Sharon) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Special Teams Player of the Week following his 95-yard kickoff return touchdown in Saturday's 30-23 win over Bethany.

White fielded the kickoff from the right hash at the 5-yard line and ran untouched up the middle before shredding through a tackle attempt by the Bethany kicker at the Thiel 46-yard line in the middle of the field. He cut left after breaking the tackle and went untouched the rest of the way up the Bethany sideline for the score to give Thiel a 12-7 edge.

White's kickoff return TD was the first by a Tomcat since Andre Rogers had a 75-yard touchdown return against Bethany on Oct. 1, 2022, a 27-26 Tomcats win. His return was also the longest runback of the season in the PAC.

Saturday's victory over the Bison gave Thiel there second consecutive 3-7 (3-7 PAC) season.
