MEADVILLE, Pa. - The Thiel College women's soccer team traveled to Meadville to face off against the Allegheny Gators in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match-up this afternoon, where the Gators took an 11-0 victory.  Â
Allegheny took a three-goal lead to start the first half and added a last-minute goal in the last 10 seconds of the half to up their score to 4-0. They added seven more scores throughout the second, four of them being in the last 10 minutes to make it a final 11-0.Â
Thiel's offense was led by Imogen deBlois (Hubbard, Ohio/Howland)Â with two shots, and Katlyn Phillips (Hanoverton, Ohio/United) added one of her own for a total of three shots.
To lead the Gators offense, Emma Miller had a 17-shot, four goal game. Delaney David and Katherine Surdykowski had two goals each, as well as Emily Beck, Casey Bender, and Taylor McKindley each adding one. Â
Thiel goalkeeper Brianna Hollandsworth (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) faced 28 shots, and recorded a career high of 17 saves. Â
Mila O'Brion and Madison Lemanski split time in net for Allegheny, O'Brion making one save. Â
After being on the road for the past three games, the Tomcats return home for the season finale against Bethany College on Wednesday.Â
