GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's volleyball team defeated the Pitt-Bradford Panthers, 3-2, Tuesday night at Maenpa Court at Beeghly Gymnasium.
The Panthers won the first two sets, 26-24, 25-19, before the Tomcats took the final three sets by scores of 25-22, 25-17, 15-8.
Thiel was led by
Arin DeLattre (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) who recorded 15 kills and five blocks.
Erica Gregory (Clinton Township, Mich./Fraser) recorded 12 kills and 24 digs, while
Kylee Jordan (Orrville, Ohio/Waynedale) recorded 12 kills.
Lyndzee Amory (Edinboro, Pa./Saegertown) recorded nine kills, while
Carlie Reynolds (Grove City, Pa./Grove City Area) recorded 60 assists.
Danielle Aulet (Lawrence, Kansas/Mineral Ridge) recorded 39 digs.
For Pitt-Bradford, Alycia Wilson led the team with 19 kills. Danielle Sasuga recorded six service aces, while Kayla Maslowski recorded 39 digs.
The Tomcats will open up Presidents' Athletics Conference (PAC) play on Monday when they host the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets. The conferenece opener is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
