Wolverines top Tomcats

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Thiel College softball team lost a pair of Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) games on the road Thursday to the Grove City Wolverines.
 
Grove City won the first game 5-0 and the second game 7-1.
 
Kaitlyn Constantino tossed a two-hitter for the Wolverines with five strikeouts in Game 1.
 
Kylee Yothers (Indian Head, Pa./Connellsville Area) led the Tomcats in the first game with a double while Kayla Roddy (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) singled.
 
Janessa Dawson limited Thiel to five hits with five strikeouts in Game 2.
 
Yothers went 2-for-3 in the second game.
 
The Tomcats will play the Saint Vincent Bearcats on the road Wednesday. The first game of the PAC doubleheader is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.
